Quality AssuranceAssurance

FIVE SECONDS. That is how long we have to grab the consumer’s attention. So your product package has to be perfect. We take this responsibility very seriously. Our quality assurance measures are infused through every step and every stage of our creative, manufacturing, and delivery processes. We take extensive measures to ensure the highest quality flexible &paperboard packaging every time.

As an ISO 9001:2008 registered company, Al-Aziz Group has taken the steps to ensure that we have the documentation and controls in place needed to provide the consistent quality that our customers, and their customers, demand. Our quality assurance technicians keep a constant watch over every detail in the process, from the front door to the back. Every machine operator knows, follows and documents detailed quality instructions.

Our quality labs & systems are well equipped with the latest testing methods & instruments. That’s why Al-Aziz group has been known for its quality and reliability. Stated in a few words “Your Products Are Our Business. ”

Flexible Packaging

We carry out the following tests in our labs from the raw materials till the goods hit the roads for final deliveries to the customers.

Electrical Oven

Laboratory ovens are standard equipment found in most labs that are used in high-forced volume thermal convection applications.

They provide even heating throughout the entire unit, regardless of the temperature it is set to.

WVTR

This instrument is use to determine how much water vapors can transmit through the product.

Water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) tests determine how well a material holds moisture, also called the barrier effect.
WVTR analyses are often an important part of the product development of materials that need to withstand different levels of moisture in varying temperatures.

Gas Chromatograph

It is basically use to perform two main tests:
Uses of Gas Chromatography as one test to help identify components of a liquid mixture and determine their relative concentration. It may also be used to separate and purify components of a mixture. Additionally gas chromatography can be used to determine vapor pressure & solvent retention.

Gas Generator

Gases used for gas chromatography analysis should conform to specified purity requirements. Most laboratories use gas cylinders or gas generators from reputed sources. However it is advisable to further purify the gases before use on gas chromatography. In gas chromatography usually three types of gases are employed namely Carrier gas This is needed for the transfer of the injected sample to the separation column. They are also responsible for the subsequent transfer of separated components to the detector. Common examples:

Shade Light Box

Color Matching Cabinet, used for color matching or assessment of all industries and applications where there is a need to maintain color consistency and quality.

Equipped with light source like D65, TL84, CWF, UV, F/A, Color Matching Cabinet complies with ASTM D1729, BS 950 PART1, BS 950 PART1, etc.
It is used to analyze the shade of sample with different light effects

Digital Weighing Scale

The weight and mass of the weighing object is deciphered and indicated in a digital format. With digital scales you can be doubly sure of the quantity. This scale is used to determine the grammage of product.

X-rite

The X-Rite Standard ensures accurate printing colors, plus leverages industry standards for process control.

The X-Rite Advanced is used in ink labs, quality control labs and by manufacturing partners who want to achieve the highest quality with the broadest toolset.

Karl Fisher Titrate

Karl Fischer titration is defined as a titration method that uses either volumetric or coulometric titration to determine the water quantity present in a given chemical samples.

This instrument is used to determine the moisture content of solvents.

Moisture Analyzer

Moisture analyzers utilize Loss on Drying (LOD) method to measure moisture.
This instrument is used to determine the solid content of inks.

In this method the moisture analyzer weighs a sample heats it up to dry it and weighs it again once it’s dry.
The weight after drying is subtracted from the weight before, so the loss of moisture is determined using the loss of mass.

OTR

This instrument is use to determine how much Oxygen can transmit through the product.
Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) is the measurement of the amount of oxygen gas that passes through a substance over a given time period.

OTR for plastic film material is the steady state rate at which the oxygen gas permeates through a film at specified conditions (temperature and relative humidity).

Auto Sealer

The intelligent sealing performance tester uses the working principle of pressurizing the sample to test the sealing strength and integrity of packaging materials.

This instrument is used to determine the seal ability of product.
It is suitable for food and medicine packaging materials such as flexible and laminated aluminum foil.
